Jonathan J. Israels – Vancouver Criminal Lawyer

Mr. Israels successfully obtained his Law degree from the University of British Columbia. He also has his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Israels is an active member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Trial Lawyer’s Association of British Columbia, and the Criminal Defence Litigation Group. He is also a former lecturer for the Law Courts Education Society of B.C.

Mr. Israels is a Criminal Defence Lawyer with over 15 years Courtroom experience in practicing Criminal law. Having worked as a Crown prosecutor for over five years in the jurisdictions of Vancouver (Provincial and Supreme Court), North Vancouver, and as ad hoc in Surrey, Mr. Israels gained a unique ability and perspective on the law – from both sides.  He applies that valuable knowledge and trial experience when defending your case.

As a Criminal Lawyer, Mr. Israels practices exclusively in the field of criminal law of all criminal law charges; most notably: crimes of violence (domestic assault / spousal assault, and assault – all types), sexual offences (sexual assault, sexual interference, and historic sexual assault offences), drug offences, and driving offences (driving while prohibited / driving while suspended, dangerous driving, and impaired driving / drunk driving, IRP’s (Immediate Roadside Prohibitions), as well as challenging driving prohibitions imposed by the Superintendent’s Office).
